Supplementary data with the Report
1A. WELLS LOGS: 31 digital well logs covering all basins on CD-ROM, listed below:
Alejandria-1, Apiay-4P, Arauquita-1, Candelaria-1, Cencella-1, Chitasuga-1, Dina K-12, Dina-12, El Molino-1X, El Sapo-1, Gigante-1, Infantas-1612, La Libertad Norte-1, La Maria-1, Ligia-1, Majagua-1, Opon-2, Payara-1, Puerto Barco-1, Puinaves-1, Rancho Hermoso-2P, Rio de Oro-14K, Rio Ele-1, Rio Maracas-1, Rio Zulia-1, San Juan-1, Santos-3, Tinka-1, Topaz-1, Uribante-1, Vaupes-1
1B. FORMATION TOPS: In addition, a compilation of formation tops from 151 wells across the Colombian basins has been created in an Excel® database.
2. PALEOGEOGRAPHIC DATABASES: Two paleogeographic databases (Appendix 4) have been compiled which serve as partial control for paleogeographic maps and other endeavours. Together, the databases hold over 5,000 lines of data, each with 15 parameters of interest to explorationists.
3. SPREADSHEETS OF GEOCHEMICAL DATA: Significant files of geochemical data from Ecopetrols holdings have been compiled from which cross-plots and various other analyses have been made (Chapter 6). These files are provided in digital format so that the user can create additional cross-plots or check aspects of specific interest.
4. SEDIMENTOLOGICAL CORE SUMMARIES: We (Roger Higgs and Diego Urrutia) conducted 5 weeks of core observations at the ICP Bucaramanga core labs. 37 cores from 14 wells were studied in detail. Results are graphically presented in colour including core- and thin section photographs. Interpretations of depositional environment and diagenetic history are assessed for the formations represented by the cores. Click here for an example
5. VARIOUS ISOPACH AND STRUCTURE MAPS: A variety of isopach and structure maps of key formations in the basins have been created to assist in the interpretation of tectonic and depositional history.
SEISMIC AUGMENTATION PACKAGE; PORTFOLIO 4 (see below): At extra cost, an additional ~290 seismic lines from all basins is provided as scanned files in TIFF format, with representative interpretation. Total line length is approximately 10,000 km. These lines have been carefully selected from the basins to be of significant use in the continued exploration.
The full table of contents, a full listing of all the seismic lines, and a full-listing of all the data tables and data-bearing figures in Chapter 6 (Geochemistry) is given in the report brochure (PDF).
